Big Barrel Baseball Bats
Ahhh…summer is here. Along with summer comes baseball! If your child is playing, it may be important to
consider purchasing a big barrel baseball bat. Unless you have been around the youth leagues for a while, you may
have not heard about these bats. Generally, these bats have 2 5/8" and 2 3/4" barrel. They are sometimes called
"Senior League" bats and are designed for youths ages 10 through 15.
A good point to remember is that senior league bats are not approved for Little League, Dixie, Babe
Ruth or AABC leagues. It is best to check with your local league or team coach for the official bat rules on big
barrel baseball bats for your league.
